Works just fine as long as you have the correct frame and internals. I changed a LEO trade in . 40 cal DAK to a 9MM DA/SA with no issue.

Slide was very good quality and I was looking forward to mounting an optic on my 229R, but the existing two barrels I have are 229 barrels, not 229-1. The new slide with the older barrels was hanging up on teh locking insert. They immediately sent me a return authorization and will credit my card. Very fast and easy to talk to them on the phone.
